Amarinth delivers 18m-long pumps for new Indian FPSO

Amarinth has accomplished a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a model new FPSO being constructed for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour point depressant pumps which may be 18m in size and the opposite four are methanol lift pumps which may be 10m long.
เกจวัดแรงดันน้ำประปา of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which have been designed and constructed alongside the size of the pumps to observe the temperature of each bearing individually.
The 18m long pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches each pump to its tank throughout set up guaranteeing that as the pump is lowered into the tank it remains perfectly aligned, reducing vibration and put on during operation.
Once assembled, the pumps have been independently witness tested and licensed by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps have been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating production storage and offloading unit) is being constructed.
The pump supply and set up had to align with the FPSO build schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they had to be put in into the vessel’s tanks via the deck earlier than one other deck above the pumps might be constructed. The first section was accomplished successfully over the Christmas interval with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning group supporting the client with the set up and commissioning.
The FPSO shall be positioned within the KG-DWN 98/2 area, approximately 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to supply up to ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It might be geared up to handle the monsoon situations prevalent on the area.
