Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and full metering methods. The firm employs round 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended custom of supporting customers and creating main industrial circulate technology for environment friendly, exact and protected dealing with of fluids,” mentioned Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and know-how offering inside optimistic displacement pumps.”

The primary part of the acquired companies will have its base in the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller half will join the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
