เกจวัดแรงดันลม has to temporarily suspend the activities of its two legal entities in Poland – Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland – due to sanctions levied by the Polish authorities on its Russian minority shareholder Viktor Vekselberg.
Sulzer’s headquarters in Winterthur, Switzerland.
The Swiss engineering group believes that the sanctions in opposition to its two entities in Poland are misguided and says that Vekselberg has no control or ownership of any Sulzer entity.
The company says it will proceed to do every thing in its power to petition for a removal from the sanctions record, while absolutely complying with the sanctions at present levied in opposition to Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland.
Sulzer has 192 workers in Poland and the group is continuous to offer help to the families impacted by the native Polish sanctions.
If the suspension have been to last, the potential impact on Sulzer’s gross sales is restricted to CHF21 million, which represents zero.6% of the group’s total sales in 2021.
Sulzer isn’t sanctioned in any other country or authorized entity.
