A main Kenyan warehouse and logistics service supplier Cold Solutions, says it will make investments USD 70 million to construct the most important cold chain facility in East Africa to deal with challenges that face transportation of perishable goods.
Cold Solution’s 15,000 sqm flagship facility in Tatu City Special Economic Zone in Nairobi would be the largest, most advanced and environment friendly within the region. The chilly chain facility is flexibly designed to cater for numerous temperature ranges from +26 to -40 C and multiple product ranges, from contemporary fruit and greens, to pharmaceuticals and vaccines, meats and poultry, and frozen foods.
